Students of classes Nur-P5 celebrated festivals ‘Rakshabandhan - a bond of love and protection' and ‘Muharram- a day to celebrate the glory of God’ in a special assembly on August 19, 2021.

Raksha Bandhan has its roots in a popular incident described in the epic Mahabharata. It is also a great sacred verse of unity, acting as a symbol of life's advancement and a leading messenger of togetherness. Beautiful poems on Raksha Bandhan highlighting the significance of the festival were recited by the students. The cultural performances depicting the grandeur of Muharram celebrations added colour and fervour to the assembly. A story depicting the true essence of the festivals was explained to the students through a PPT. The festivals were celebrated with great enthusiasm and merriment by the students.
