A virtual assembly on National Mathematics Day was held on December 16, 2021 by the students of Himachal House of classes S1 to S7. The day was first celebrated on the 125th birth anniversary of the great Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan.

The thought of the day reflected the importance of mathematics and the talk highlighted the life history of the great mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. The senior students showcased the important contributions made by Srinivasa Ramanujan like magic square, infinite series and so on through a power point presentation that gave a glimpse into the wonderful and interesting world of mathematics. The students were intrigued by the fact how mathematics reinforces just about everything in our lives and is a powerful tool.
