The Modern School, ECNCR, orchestrated an unforgettable odyssey to the land of lions, temples, and whispering waves - Saurashtra, for students of classes S4-S7. From September 19, 2025, to September 23, 2025, 49 students and four dedicated teachers embarked on this adventure.

The journey began with a thrilling safari at the Gir Forest National Park, home to the majestic Asiatic lions. The students were enthralled by the presence of these regal creatures and leopards.

The next day, the group visited the revered Somnath Temple, a sacred Jyotirlinga, filling their hearts with spiritual calm and peace. The temple's majestic architecture and the soothing Arabian Sea waves created an unforgettable experience.

The challenging Girnar trek followed, with over 10,000 steps leading to the summit, where ancient temples and panoramic views awaited. The students reveled in the spiritual fulfillment and breathtaking vistas.

The trip concluded with a visit to the stunning Diu beaches, where gentle waves and soft sandy shores beckoned the students to indulge in aquatic delights. The Gateway Hotel by Taj added to the luxury and comfort.

A visit to the Rajkot zoo, featuring a majestic white tiger, brought the trip to a close. This journey was a testament to the students' enthusiasm and the teachers' dedication, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
